Aging
Aging is a special skill of Morions used to increase the ability of their items. Aging was found by senior Morions while analyzing the skills of Tempskrons. By combining life energy from sheltoms to the equipments, it enables the energy itself to mature. All items in the game are possible for an 'Aging' and its effectiveness applies differently for each item.

Aging Method
In order to age an item, you first need the item you wish to age and the sheltoms. Here is a table showing what sheltom is needed for each level:

To begin the 'Aging' process, you first need to go to Phillai and visit the Aging NPC. After you pay the aging cost, the NPC will try to age your equipment. If you repeat this process, you can age up to 10 times. But, it depends on the artisan, after your 3rd aging, there is a possibility to fail. When it fails, you will lose your sheltoms, money, and item.

Item Maturation
Once you succeed in getting ready for an 'Aging', you will see a bar graph on the item information screen. When the graph is fully filled from left to right, you will have reached the ability for the aging. This is called an 'Item maturation'. Here is how it works:
Type of Items Standard to increase aging bar
Axes, Maces, Wands/Staves Hit with normal attack
Claws, Bows, Scythes, Swords, Javelins Make a critical hit
Armors, Robes, Orbs/Beads Get hit by a monster
Shields Block a monsters hit
Note: Your level must be within +/-10 of the monster's level for the aging bar to increase.
After the maturation is done, the aged item will be completed and it's level will shown on the item screen. For every two levels an item is aged, the item level requirement will increase by one, so players should try aging depending upon their character's level.

Other Effect for each age level
Shields +0.5 Block, +0.2 Absorb
Orbs & Beads +10% Defense, +0.5 Absorb
Armors & Robes +5% Defense, +0.5 Absorb

Note: Durability decreases 1 point per aging level for the following items: axes, maces, bows, armors, robes, shields, and orbs/beads.
